Superior man arrested for chat-based sex crime - A Superior man accused of offering money to underage girls to Skype naked with him has been arrested. 
A tip from the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation was forwarded to the Lake Superior Forensic Technology and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for investigation on Aug. 14. A user with the screen name “Bobby S” was chatting using the site July 17. In the first chat session, Bobby S asks “Cecillia M” if she is younger than 16. When she tells him she is 15, he offers her money if she will Skype naked with him and perform a sexual act. Read More>>

Sex predator Karl Salmon admits all charges - Salmon, 21, today admitted four charges of sexual connection with a young person, one of blackmail, doing an indecent act on a young person, threatening to kill, and possession of an objectionable publication.
The charges relate to four girls and were said to have been committed in North Canterbury last year and early this year.
In July, Salmon admitted a charge of sexual connection with a 14-year-old girl he met over the social media site Facebook. He admitted making threats to kill her by text message and over another social media site, Snapchat. Read More>>

New York man charged with enticing Grafton girl, 13 - A New York man faces federal charges for allegedly exchanging pornographic images with a 13-year-old Grafton girl and attempting to lure her to New York for sex.
Ethan Fordley, 24, of Albany, New York, is charged in U.S. District Court in Worcester with attempted production of child pornography, enticement of a child and using means or facility of interstate commerce to transport obscene materials to a minor.
In her report, Ms. Weidlich said Mr. Fordley and the girl met on an Internet chat site in September 2014 when the girl was 13.
The girl said she told him her age and he said he was 23 and lived with his mother and stepfather. Read More>>

Facebook Sex Predator Gets 29 Years For Child Porn, Extorted Sex Acts With Underage Girls - A California man who used Facebook to trick young girls into sending him sexually explicit photos of themselves and then blackmailed them for sex and money was sentenced to 29 years in jail this week.
Jordan James Kirby, a 23-year-old man from Paradise, California, pled guilty to enticement of a minor, attempted production of child porn, and attempted enticement of a minor, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Kirby used different Facebook identities to contact young girls between the age of 10 and 15.
He used his Facebook identities to tell the girls he was a modeling agent or Victoria’s Secret employee and offered them thousands of dollars for pictures of them in their bikinis, underwear, or partially nude. Read More>>

School sergeant arrested for ‘explicit’ Facebook messages with student - A 43-year-old school resource officer, Sgt. Dorell Green has been arrested for making hundreds of obscene Facebook messages to a female student of Fountain-Fort Carson School District.
According to an arrest affidavit released Wednesday, Green asked the student if she was a virgin and also invited her to join him in bed in some of the messages exchanged between March and April. Read More>>

KC man used Facebook to stalk, threaten girl; now going to prison - A Kansas City man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for trying to coerce a 16-year old girl to have sex with him by threatening to post nude pictures of her online.  Denis Aguilar, 23, of Kansas City, pleaded guilty to sexual trafficking of a child and received the sentence in Platte County Circuit Court.

Facebook predator acted as friend to target girl, 13 - In Grafton Local Court yesterday a man was facing two charges of indecent assault of a girl aged under 16 and one of procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity. The man has pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
During the interviews the then 13-year-old girl described how she made contact with the accused during a social occasion in 2013 and requested he become a Facebook "friend".
She told how the accused had initially used his own name for his Facebook profile, but later created another false name to continue the relationship.
The girl said the accused told her he had done this because he was worried there would be questions asked about the relationship if he used his real name.
It appeared the Facebook contact continued over several months and plans were afoot which might have meant more face-to-face contact with the accused and the girl. Read More>>

'Perverted predator' jailed over indecent images - Garrett Moon, 28, pleased guilty at Guernsey's Royal Court to 10 charges including inciting a 14-year-old girl to commit an act of gross indecency.
Judge Russell Finch told Moon: "Young girls need to be protected from perverted predators like you.
The court heard Moon contacted the girl via Facebook in March and, after obtaining her phone number from her profile, sent her naked pictures of himself via Whatsapp.
The girl blocked him, but he continued to approach her in an attempt to arrange a meeting, which never happened.
She told police the pictures had made her feel sick, but they were only discovered when officers were examining her phone for an unconnected investigation. Read More>>

Prosecutor: Lodi Man, 42, Posed As Young Girl Online To Chat With Boys - The Bergen County Prosecutor announced the arrest of Matthew Bolger, 42, of Lodi, New Jersey on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor (specifically, by creating social medial accounts and impersonating a juvenile female victim while engaging in chats with unknown males as the juvenile female.

Bolger had created several social media accounts over the Internet in the name of a juvenile female with whom he was acquainted.  Bolger would then impersonate the juvenile female over the accounts in order to solicit  pornographic images for sexual gratification. Read More>>
